Prop Firms With No Consistency Rule: Check the Account Stage First

A firm rarely has one consistency policy across every product. A challenge may require a best-day percentage while the funded account has no consistency rule—or the reverse. This guide separates evaluation rules from funded-account payout rules.

At a glance

  • BrightFunded says it does not currently enforce a consistency rule on its CFD programme.
  • Tradeify Select has a 40% consistency rule during evaluation, but its Select funded payout paths have no consistency rule.
  • Tradeify Growth evaluation has no consistency requirement, while Growth Sim Funded accounts have a 35% rule.

How consistency rules work

A consistency rule usually limits how much of your total profit can come from your single best trading day. For example, a 40% rule means the best day cannot exceed 40% of the relevant total profit for the period. The precise calculation window and consequences differ by provider.

A consistency rule may delay payout eligibility without failing the account. Other firms may apply it as a challenge-passing requirement. Read the definition and enforcement section rather than relying on the label alone.

A common mistake: evaluation vs funded account

  • Check whether the rule applies while passing the evaluation, after funding, or both.
  • Check whether it is measured against total profit, net profit, or a payout-cycle amount.
  • Check whether exceeding the percentage breaches the account or simply delays a payout.
  • Check whether the rule changes by account type, purchase date or payout option.
  • Check whether a promotional or add-on account has different terms.

What we mean by “no consistency rule”

A firm is included only for the specific model and stage that the official source supports. We do not describe an entire firm as consistency-free when one of its products still has a consistency requirement. Conditions can change, so the linked official rules should be checked again before purchase.
