Prop Firm Rule Changes

Alpha Capital Group has newly disclosed concrete drawdown limits — 4% daily and 6% max — where none were previously listed. At the same time, its published details on payout frequency, instant funding, and weekly payouts have been removed, making those terms currently unclear.

Finotive Funding appears to have raised the profit split for most Instant Funding accounts from 75% to 80%, now only keeping the 75% split for the 'Standard Lite' Instant Funding plan—an improvement for traders on other Instant Funding tiers. The payout frequency rule is unchanged, just reworded for clarity.

BrightFunded switched from a 2-step to a 1-step evaluation model, kept its weekly 24-hour guaranteed payout schedule (just reworded), and now allows news trading, which was previously banned. Overall, these changes make the program faster to pass and more flexible for traders.

FTMO has increased its maximum drawdown limit from 5% to 10%, giving traders significantly more room before hitting a breach. This is a trader-friendly change, making accounts less restrictive.

This is just a formatting update — Topstep's payout frequency is still weekly, only the capitalization of the label changed. No actual rule change for traders.

Tradeify's account details no longer list a scaling plan or instant funding option, both of which were previously confirmed as available. The status of these programs is now unclear, which reduces transparency for traders comparing account features.
