Instant Funding Prop Firms: Compare Direct Accounts and Their Rules

Instant funding removes the usual evaluation phases, but it does not remove trading rules. Some direct accounts have trailing drawdown, minimum profitable days, consistency limits or payout caps. Compare the full rule set—not just the promise of immediate access.

At a glance

  • FundedNext Stellar Instant provides an account from day one without a challenge, but it still has a maximum loss limit and reward eligibility rules.
  • FTMO Instant is a separate product from its 1-Step and 2-Step challenges; rewards are subject to the Instant account objectives.
  • FundingPips Zero Instant Master has its own daily and trailing overall loss limits and profitable-day requirements.

What instant funding means

An instant or direct-funded account skips the standard evaluation stage. It does not necessarily mean a trader receives a live brokerage account or can withdraw immediately. The providers referenced here describe simulated trading programmes with reward eligibility rules.

The key questions are: Is there a profit target? What are the daily and overall loss limits? Is drawdown static or trailing? How many profitable days are required before a reward request? Is there a consistency or payout cap?

Published product differences

Provider / productEvaluationKey restrictions to review
FundedNext Stellar InstantNo challenge; account from day oneNo daily loss limit is shown for this model, but a 6% trailing maximum loss limit applies; reward eligibility and minimum growth conditions apply.
FTMO Instant AccountNo Challenge or Verification phaseConsistency requirement and maximum loss / daily loss rules still apply; first reward request is available after 14 days from the first trade.
FundingPips Zero Instant MasterNo evaluation3% daily loss, 5% trailing overall loss and 7 profitable days on the Master account are listed in the model comparison.

How to choose an instant account

  • Calculate the maximum loss in currency, not only as a percentage.
  • Understand whether the loss floor trails your balance or equity and when it updates.
  • Check how many profitable days are needed before the first payout.
  • Read consistency, payout cap, minimum withdrawal and payment-method conditions.
  • Compare the upfront fee against the challenge fee you would otherwise pay; instant models may cost more.

Instant funding is not automatically the best value

A challenge model may have a lower entry fee but require passing one or more phases. A direct model can save evaluation time but may impose tighter funded-account limits. The right comparison is total cost plus the probability and conditions of reaching a payout—not simply speed to account credentials.

Frequently asked questions

Can you withdraw immediately from an instant-funded account?

Not necessarily. The account may be available immediately, but payout requests can still require profitable days, a waiting period, minimum profit or other eligibility conditions.

Does instant funding have no drawdown?

No. Direct accounts still have maximum loss limits, and some use trailing drawdown.

Is instant funding the same as a live account?

Not always. The firms in this guide describe simulated trading programmes with performance rewards. Read the provider’s legal and product disclosures.
