Quick comparison: the published two-step models

Where the models differ
FundedNext Stellar 2-Step has a clearly defined five-day minimum in each phase. Its published rules show an 8% Phase 1 target, a 5% Phase 2 target, a 5% daily loss limit and a 10% static maximum loss limit. The first reward cycle is 21 days, followed by 14-day cycles; the initial challenge fee is refunded with the first reward under the published Stellar 2-Step terms.
FundingPips offers more than one two-step model. The official comparison lists Standard, Pro and Flex with different targets, daily loss limits, overall loss limits and minimum-day requirements. The Standard model has 8% and 5% targets, while the Pro model has 6% and 6%; the Flex model has 10% and 8%. Do not assume one FundingPips rule set applies to every account.
FundingPips Standard also applies a 35% consistency score only to the On-Demand reward cycle; the Weekly and Bi-Weekly reward cycles are not subject to that requirement. This payout-stage condition is easy to miss when comparing the headline reward percentages.
Copy trading and other restrictions matter too
FundingPips permits copying between accounts owned by the same person and permits a FundingPips account to act as a master for an external follower. It prohibits copying trades into a FundingPips account from an external source and prohibits third-party account management.
FundedNext CFD rules are more restrictive in important ways: copying is limited to qualifying accounts owned by the same individual, and the current rules prohibit copy trading when a FundedNext funded account is involved. Review the product-specific policy before using a copier.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose by evaluation model first: compare two-step with two-step, not an instant product with an evaluation challenge.
- If minimum trading days matter, FundedNext Stellar 2-Step lists five days per phase; FundingPips Standard lists three per phase.
- If payout cadence matters, compare the reward option actually attached to the FundingPips model and the FundedNext first/subsequent reward schedule.
- Check copier permissions, news rules, drawdown calculation and account-specific add-ons before paying.
Important limitations
Published terms can change and different account sizes, regions, add-ons or purchase dates may produce different conditions. The official model pages linked below take precedence over this summary. This is a comparison of simulated trading evaluation products, not a recommendation to buy either product.
Frequently asked questions
Is FundedNext better than FundingPips?
There is no universal winner. Compare the exact challenge model, drawdown limits, minimum days, payout eligibility and copier rules that match your trading style.
Do both firms offer instant funding?
Both firms publish instant/direct account options, but those products have separate rules and should not be compared with their two-step evaluation models.
Can I copy trades between accounts at either firm?
Both firms allow some same-owner copying in defined circumstances, but their limits differ. FundedNext CFD rules restrict copying involving a FundedNext funded account; FundingPips restricts inbound external copying.
